We are now accepting applications for our string orchestra, to participate in a music camp with leading national and international faculty members with masterclasses for string instruments and workshops on interesting creative issues such as historical dance, music marketing and more. SSMS celebrate its 21st anniversary in 2025, the summer music camp offers a one-of-a-kind experience.
Set right on the most beautiful Sunset beach, east of Pattaya, SSMS features a fully integrated musical journey for attendees.
We focused on learning how to be the best musician we can be, in an inspiring and nurturing environment of SCB training center equipped with hotel rooms, rehearsal rooms, outdoor spaces, sandy beach and legendary Thai cuisine. Come and spend your musical Summer in Thailand!

Eligibility
- Open to all string musicians – Violin, Viola, Cello, and Double Bass.
- No age limitation.
Audition Submission
All applicants must submit a video audition via an online link (accept only YouTube). Please make sure the link is public or shareable.
Video Requirements
- Please state your full name clearly at the beginning of the video.
- Perform the required excerpts from the following works:
- Shostakovich: Chamber Symphony in C minor, Op. 110a
- Tchaikovsky: Serenade for Strings in C major, Op. 48
- The total length of the video should not exceed 5 minutes.

Information for International Participants
The Silpakorn Summer Music School 2025 warmly welcomes applicants from outside Thailand.
Visa Information:
- Participants from abroad are responsible for arranging and obtaining their own visa to enter Thailand.
- Once selected, the school will issue an official acceptance letter to support your visa application.
- Please check the visa requirements for your country with the Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate in your area.
We strongly recommend starting your visa process immediately after receiving confirmation of acceptance, as visa processing times may vary by country.
